Keeping You Safe
The safety of our workshop participants is paramount. Due to Covid-19, we have introduced additional safety measures and will continue to follow government advice and regulations to ensure you can safely enjoy our workshops.
The actions we are taking to keep us all safe are detailed below:
Safe Travel to Shooting Locations
Covid-19 is transmitted by close contact. Government advice is that people from different households should not share a vehicle. Consequently, we are asking workshops participants to meet us at the shooting locations. We have deliberately chosen locations that have good parking and are relatively easy to find. We will provide detailed instructions on how to find each location (including a map of the destination area showing where you can park).
For those who do not drive we have several workshops operating in Inverness which benefits from good public transport links. Inverness provides a wide range of shooting environments within easy walking distance of the city centre.
Who can attend our workshops
Participants Limited to a Single Household
We are currently limiting our workshops to a maximum of 3 participants. All participants must be from a single household (or within an approved bubble). Consequently, most workshops will operate on a one-to-one basis. On the plus side, this does mean that each participant gets the benefit of more personal tuition and guidance.
Information for visitors from within Scotland
From 2 November 2020, Scotland entered into a tiered system. Regrettably, we have decided that we are unable to accept workshop participants from tiers 3 and above as the advice is not to travel outside their local area. Should the Highland region enter tiers 3 or above then all workshops will cease until our tier is reduced to tier 2 or lower.
Information for visitors from England, Wales and Northern Ireland
During any period when England, Wales, or Northern Ireland are in a national lockdown (or firebreak/circuit break) we are unable to accept workshop participants from these countries. We are also unable to accept workshop guests from these countries when the Scottish Government has declared that leisure travel to Scotland from those countries is not permitted.
As each devolved nation eases restrictions so we hope (subject to the rules in Scotland) to be able to accept workshop participants from areas deemed to be low or medium risk.
Information for visitors from Outside the United Kingdom
For the foreseeable future we are not able to accept bookings from people outside of the United Kingdom. We will continue to monitor the and follow all official advice. We hope to be able to accept guests at some point in 2021, but have decided not to take any advanced bookings at this stage.
Social Distancing & Personal Protective Equipment
As far as possible we will adhere to recommended Social distancing to mitigate the chance of covid transmission. This means we will maintain a physical distance of 2 metres at most times. There may be occasions where, for teaching or demonstration purposes, it is helpful to be closer than 2 metres. We will only come closer than 2 metres with your permission and will wear a suitable face covering.
We will have a supply of disposable face coverings available if you do not have your own. Face coverings must be worn whenever it is not possible to maintain a distance of at least 2 metres.
A supply of hand sanitiser will be available if you do not have your own.
No-Risk Workshop Payment and Cancellation Terms
We operate a flexible payment and cancellation policy.
- For bookings made more than 7 days in advance a £25.00 deposit per person is required to secure your workshop place. If the workshop is due in the next 7 days then full payment will be required at the time of booking.
- Where a workshop has an outstanding balance this must be paid no later than 24 hours before the workshop.
- If we are required to cancel your workshop for any reason you will be refunded all monies paid in full (including your deposit).
- If you cancel at any time for any reason and you will be entitled to a full refund of any amounts paid (excluding a £25.00 per person charge to cover our administration costs). The amount we retain will be held in credit on your behalf and can be used against a future workshop as long as it commences no later than 6 months after your cancelled workshop. After this 6 month period, the credit will expire and you will not be entitled to a refund.
